On February 27, 2025, Beder University College hosted the 4th International Symposium on "Empowering Women for Sustainable Development," organized by CSDI and the Faculty of Technology and Business, where experts gathered to discuss challenges in achieving Sustainable Development Goals. In his opening remarks, Prof. Dr. Gjergji Sinani emphasized women's role in society and education, while Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tidita Abdurrahmani focused on interdisciplinary dialogue and innovation. The Chair of the symposium, Dr Edona Llukaçaj focused on the importance of tackling these pressing issues. The invited speakers in the symposium were: Anjeza Kadilli PhD (Haute Ecole de Gestion), Msc. Aneida Bajraktari Bicja (CEO, Balkans Capital) Sonila Meka (DPPI Albania), Msc. Esmeralda Byberi ( CEO Protik Albania), Dr. Sonila Çela (CEO, Data Centrum Research Institute) and Dr. Ana Kekezi (Beder University). Along the challenges, the speakers also spoke in length about the opportunities which were shared with the present staff and students.
